The N.A.H.S.E. Chicago Chapter Emerging Leaders Program ("ELP") was developed to achieve our goal of building, supporting and empowering the next generation of healthcare professionals. The ELP will provide leadership training, mentoring, networking and personal development opportunities for future leaders interested in a variety of healthcare settings and sectors.

Application Deadline: Friday March 21, 2025
Eligibility Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a Master’s program specializing in healthcare leadership (e.g., MHA, MPH, MBA) or a similar post-baccalaureate degree
– OR –
• Professionals with experience in healthcare, administration, or a related field who are looking to transition into leadership roles.
• Demonstrated interest in healthcare management and/or pursuing healthcare fellowship opportunities.
• Strong aspiration to progress within a hospital, health system, or another healthcare entity. Located in Chicagoland to attend all virtual and in-person sessions.
The application entails:
• A personal statement
• A letter of endorsement from a faculty member of the applicant’s university program or a professional reference from a current or former employer in the healthcare or leadership field.
• An updated resume
• Commitment to engage actively in all program sessions and activities in-person and virtual.
