Description

"In management theory, healthcare organizations surviving in times of change move from an emphasis on economy, to efficiency, and then to effectiveness. These organizations realize that they must not only make the best use of their resources (economy), and demonstrate excellence in how tasks are accomplished (efficiency), but must be sure they are doing the right things and are being effective."
(Joan Giesecke University of Nebraska-Lincoln).

In today's economy, partnerships play a vital role in an organization's future as it relates to it's impact (efficiency) and fiscal sustainability (economy).

Many funding sources are requiring coalitions and/or partnerships as a key element for a successful application. Unfortunately not everyone recognizes that there is a skill and knowledge needed to create and maintain good viable partnerships.
